Discos and Wobblers...

Been very good today. Actually had two breakfasts; first one was fruit and yogurt, second breakfast (like a hobbit) was poached eggs and tomatos on a brown slice. Yum.
Treated myself at lunch time and spent some money on a jacket with beans plus a small salad box from the salad bar.

Discos and Wobblers...

Well the wobbler referred to in the title is actually not referring to me, but a lovely soya burger (I don't eat meat) with an egg on top. The burger is only 2 syns. We have it with bread instead of a bun, 2 slices of brown, crusts off and toasted one side, although today that's more syns. Fried egg on top.


  • Oven cook one burger. (We have a veggie one.)
  • Fry an egg.
  • Toast two slices of bread. One side only.
  • Hey presto, you have a Wobbler.
  • For a double Wobbler, add another egg.


The discos are the invention of the other half. He got fed up with SW chips so decided to cut slices of potatoes into circles and dry them off before cooking them, hence the name, disc'o's.


  • To make a chilli disco, add chilli at the end.
  • To make a garlic disco, add garlic at the end.
  • To make salt and vinegar discos, add the salt and vinegar at the start and keep topping up with vinegar.

Discos take about an hour at 200c. Turn them over half way through.


Oh, forgot to say, had a big pile of salad on the side to get the super frees in. All in all, very tasty and I'm stuffed now!
