The picture above is double curry ! two different SW curries on one plate. This was my dinner on Saturday nite (so we didn't have a takeaway!). Both were yummy!
My weigh in today went ok. I managed to lose another 2lb. I only need to do 2.5lb to get my 6 and a half stone! Not sure it will be this week though as I've already had chips (from the kebab shop) and I a staying at a friends over the next weekend, although she is cooking me SW food from the recipe books so you never know!!!
 
Oh and I went shopping on Saturday morning and I got myself a pair of jeans, these are my FIRST EVER pair so I am quite pleased with myself !! And...they were not from a 'out size' clothes shop, they were from Next and a size 14!! It's all very surreal !!!

Back on track...

Well, I hope you will be pleased to hear that I am back on track. I lost 2.5lb this week. So that's 6st 2.5lb in total. Not really sure what was different last week tots week, but I'm not complaining. Obviously there was no vodka this week, and lots of walking and stairs, oh I made it to Zumba class too.
Tonight's dinner was sausage and mash, not exactly syn free, but it's soooo cold we just wanted some good old fashioned stodgy!!!
Going to the Ideal Home Show tomorrow so plenty of walking to do!

Wobbler night...


Last week's wobbler was so tasty we decided to have it again...
 
Been out and about today stomping around a shopping centre so hopefully it will count for a bit of body magic!
 I do NOT plan on another gain!!!

For the first time in 48 weeks!!!!!...

Hi All,

I haven't been on here for a few days as I've been staying at my mums. Went out on Friday night and drank vodka! (I am not much of a drinker, normally only drink at Christmas!). Had a great night, however, my weigh in yesterday was a bit disappointing!
For the first time since I started my Slimming World adventure I have actually gained!!!! I gained a 1/2lb ! Can't believe my 'streak' is over! Been racking my brains trying to work out what it was, the only think that was different this week was drink. I'm blaming the vodka although I did account for it in my little book and I still only had 78syns this whole week, but I  must have missed something somewhere!
The whole group were very supportive and I even got given a special achievement award to cheer me up lol! (for not gaining for 48 weeks, not for putting on weight lol!)
Ho hum ! I'm sticking to plan this week, going to carry on as normal and see what happens on the scales on Monday!

My resolution for the week is not to use the lift at work! Hopefully a little body magic will help!

Discos and Wobblers...

Been very good today. Actually had two breakfasts; first one was fruit and yogurt, second breakfast (like a hobbit) was poached eggs and tomatos on a brown slice. Yum.
Treated myself at lunch time and spent some money on a jacket with beans plus a small salad box from the salad bar.

Discos and Wobblers...

Well the wobbler referred to in the title is actually not referring to me, but a lovely soya burger (I don't eat meat) with an egg on top. The burger is only 2 syns. We have it with bread instead of a bun, 2 slices of brown, crusts off and toasted one side, although today that's more syns. Fried egg on top.


  • Oven cook one burger. (We have a veggie one.)
  • Fry an egg.
  • Toast two slices of bread. One side only.
  • Hey presto, you have a Wobbler.
  • For a double Wobbler, add another egg.


The discos are the invention of the other half. He got fed up with SW chips so decided to cut slices of potatoes into circles and dry them off before cooking them, hence the name, disc'o's.


  • To make a chilli disco, add chilli at the end.
  • To make a garlic disco, add garlic at the end.
  • To make salt and vinegar discos, add the salt and vinegar at the start and keep topping up with vinegar.

Discos take about an hour at 200c. Turn them over half way through.


Oh, forgot to say, had a big pile of salad on the side to get the super frees in. All in all, very tasty and I'm stuffed now!

Mon night is Weigh in night...

Well, despite having several incidents with various cakes this week, I have actually managed to lose half a pound. That's 6st and 1/2lb in total!
